To all your graduates, just a bit of advice…
As you begin your search for a job, it is important to know what you want for your carrier, and it may very well change, but just like building a relationship, you have to start dating. Understanding that once you are actually on the job, it may look nothing like you imagined, so be realistic and flexible. It will evolve, change, and may even end. You want to create a success path early on. Having balance in your life is extremely important for your success and happiness. Look for employers who share similar values as you. Carrier, financial benefits, personal time, and faith must strike a balance. Remember success and happiness is an “inside job”. This process of pursuing the ultimate success is a lifelong working progress, and you can never start too early because you never know when too early will be too late.
Wishing you the best of luck, making the most money isn’t always the most successful outcome. If it was true, 95% of the people on this earth would be unhappy and unsuccessful. Create your own path!
